Who we are
Meet james and glenN
James and Glenn met through their love of STEM in 2016, and quickly realised that through combining their own unique backgrounds and skill sets they could make a difference to the way STEM is delivered in primary and secondary schools. When speaking with school staff, teachers would often feel ill-equipped to deliver a full and rounded STEM curriculum, and school leaders would feel unsure of the direction to take the subject area. Fortunately, James and Glenn are here to help.

James has spent many years in the field of engineering. He gained grassroots experience working in the oil and gas industry as an apprentice during the early stages of his career. James then focused on further education, and during the 1990s he taught and trained apprentices in various engineering roles. James has gained extensive experience teaching in primary, secondary and further education, and has served as a STEM Co-ordinator in several schools and colleges. Working with his students, James has won a number of awards and accolades for his work in the field of STEM. In 2011, James took his knowledge and expertise to the Middle East and developed a programme of STEM in a recently-built school under the management of Qatar Petroleum and Gas. James believes that STEM can - and should - be exciting, innovative and, above all, inspiring. He enjoys nothing more than turning students into future engineers.
